Software Program information

We can accept files originated by many different applications - for either PC or Macintosh platforms. For some other programs, you may need to temporarily supply Pagefast with the software so we can access and export the job for film output

  • Adobe InDesign - all versions and platforms including latest Adobe Creative Suite
  • Quark Express - all versions including 4, 5 and 6
  • Adobe Photoshop - all file types and versions

    Graphic files created in other similar programs can usually be accepted however you will need to speak to us about the best formats to use.
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Macromedia Freehand

Although we can accept files created in the following programs, you should contact Pagefast for extra information peculiar to each type

  • CorelDraw - later versions preferred due to potential output problems
  • MS Word (supply graphics separately)
  • MS Publisher - use Pack & Go option

Most other popular file formats can also be used, however be aware that output of printing film may require extra time and effort for some programs.
This is especially true if job is to be printed in colour which necessitates CMYK film output (see explanation of colour terms here )

Pagefast has a selection of software available to download - click above.

This is either shareware or freeware. Please check with individual vendors for details of shareware costs should you wish to continue to use their products after the try-out period (where appropriate) Full details are usually available in the Help menu of the software.
